Silicone Defoamer is suitable primarily for the following applications:- Alkaline processes in the textiles industry(bleaching, washing, dyeing, etc.).- Surfactant-containing compositions in which the defoamer is required to be highly compatible, for example, liquid detergents and cleaning agents.ProcessingQYS4008 is usually added to the formulations to be defoamed in amounts of 0.3–1.0% at the end of the product formulation stage. It does not need to be diluted first, and is stirred in gently.QYS4008 usually disperses without the need to apply high shearing forces.In textile processes, QYS4008 is added at the beginning of the process in an amount corresponding to the desired degree of foam suppression. During the course of relatively long processes more may be added if necessary.StorageThe 'Best use before end' date of each batch is shown on the product label.Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longerusable.
